Isn’t this just the best cover and title for a Christmas book?! It instantly brought to mind images of Mark Darcy in Bridget Jones and it made me smile widely at the thought of a man in a cheesy Christmas jumper.
Never Kiss A Man In A Christmas Jumper is a sweet Christmas story about Maggie and a rather unfortunate collision with a rather fortunately good looking man, Marco. After crashing into one another and Marco sustaining a broken leg, Maggie manages to bag herself a rather unexpected house guest over the Christmas period. As Maggie and Marco spend more time together they begin to like each other quite a bit…but can their very different lives ever work in harmony together?
I spent the entirety of this book cheering on Maggie and Marco, I wanted them to get together soooo much! Their flirty banter and the tension between them was really tangible and I got so lost in their story, completely caught up in their will they/won’t they story line.
Also making an appearance are Maggie’s father and her teenage daughter who are both really beautiful additions to the narrative. They’re both funny and witty and really brought the book to life. Even if they were only around for a short while!
I really enjoyed reading this book – my only criticism is that I would have LOVED it to have been a little longer, it’s only around 180 pages I believe, but regardless of that, I really think this is a super Christmas story! I am super excited to read more from Debbie and I love love love the sound of her next novel called The Birthday That Changed Everything!
If you want to win a copy of this book, all you have to do is leave a comment below telling me about your favourite Christmas jumper!! Competition closes on 20th November at midnight. (Sorry, UK only)
My favourite Christmas jumper is red with big Christmas baubles on it, and bells, it’s really tacky and noisy when I walk, as the bells jingle! but I’m a nurse and the patients seem to love it so if it makes someone smile I don’t mind wearing it 🎄🎅🏻

My favourite Christmas jumper is blue with white reindeers running across it, it has a very Scandinavian Christmas feel- it may not be the loudest of Christmas jumpers but it makes me feel christmassy every time I put it on and have now had it for four years 🙂

I don’t have a Christmas jumper but was rather fond of the one Colin Firth wore in Bridget Jones. Or maybe I’m just rather fond of Colin Firth!

Last year was the first Christmas Day that My Family and I partook in the joys of the Christmas Jumper; we had a Reindeer one, Snowman, Christmas Pudding and a Mince Pie! =D

My favourite Christmas jumper is the only one I have and ever had. I got it last year for my first Christmas spent with my brother here in UK. It’s an Elf top with six bells. Back when I bought it, I thought bells sounded so cute… now I’m not so sure. 😉 Think I’d prefer something quieter for this year.
